This story comes from “Jjangjjangee,” who rediscovered their love with their husband through DailyBean.

A Journey Back to Where Love Began
Q. Has DailyBean ever helped you realize something meaningful?
I’m in my second year of marriage, raising the sweetest three-month-old baby with my loving husband. One day, I found myself wondering—how did I feel about my husband before we got married?
So I went back and read through my past entries. As I scrolled, I realized just how much happiness and love I had documented—it filled up so many pages! Reading back on those memories, I felt so grateful, and my sleeping husband looked even more handsome than ever before ♥︎
From Long-Distance Miles to Daily Devotion
Q. Could you tell us more about your relationship?
We were long-distance. My best friend who went to college in another state introduced him to me. We lived 2.5 hours apart, and for over a year before we got married, he came to my city every single weekend. And he never, not even once, complained about being worn out. He’d always show up with a big smile and say, “Just being able to see you makes the journey feel like nothing.
Q. As you reread, was there any particular entry that stood out?
In every single entry, I could see my feelings growing bigger. After each date, I’d leave little notes like:
“I like him so much. I don’t think I can live without him anymore.”
“I must really, really like him—I can’t stop wanting to see him!”
Reading them, I thought, “Oh, I really loved him this much,” and it felt kind of amazing.

Cherishing Every Beans Until the Very End
Q. Did you show those old entries to your husband? How did he react?
I am curious how he’d react, but I’m still too shy to show him. ^^;;; I’m really happy this is being turned into a little toon, though—when it comes out, I’d love to look at it together with him and show him then.
Q. Lastly, is there anything you’d like to say to the DailyBean team?
I’ll keep filling up DailyBean with all my memories, love, and happiness, so I can cherish them forever. Please keep DailyBean going for a long, long time, so I can look back even when I’m a little old lady! Thank you for everything.
